Meet Dr. Michael Langevin

Dr. Michael A. Langevin serves the comprehensive eye care needs of patients throughout north-central Arkansas and south-central Missouri.

Raised in a Navy family that relocated to Arkansas, Dr. Langevin attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro where he majored in Zoology with a Chemistry minor in preparation for professional school.

Dr. Langevin graduated from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee with Dean's List honors and is licensed by the Arkansas State Board of Optometry.

Practicing and residing in Mountain Home for many years, Dr. Langevin raised three children, all Mountain Home High School graduates. Dr. Langevin is a founding member of the Twin Lakes Soccer Association and started the local girls' soccer program along with Dr. Michael Breton, former principal at Pinkston Middle School. Dr. Langevin coached and refereed soccer for 15 years, wearing out one knee and two SUVs.

In addition, Dr. Langevin volunteered at the local Christian Clinic for 15 years, setting up the eye clinic and treating patients who otherwise could not afford eye care.

Dr. Langevin provides comprehensive eye care services including general optometry, vision exams, contact lens fittings, with emphasis on the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and conditions including red eyes, macular degeneration, glaucoma, retinal tears and detachments.

Langevin Eye Center, P.A. utilizes advanced instruments including retinal photography and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) or MRI of the back of the eye for advanced early detection.
